How long are the tours?
GCW Rim total time is about 11 hours (three hours on the Hualapai Nation Indian Reservation), Return @ 5:00 pm. GCS Rim total time is 15 hours (three hours in the National Park). Return @ 8-9:00pm
Which Grand Canyon Tour is right for me?
Is there a difference with GCS Rim versus GCW Rim?
Yes. GCW Rim is where the Skywalk attraction is (glass bridge extends out 70 feet), and is home of the Hualapai Indian Reservation, private land. GCW Rim elevation is 4771’ above sea level & the temperature runs about 10 degrees lower than Las Vegas.
GCS Rim is the widest & deepest part of the Grand Canyon; it is a national park. GCS Rim elevation is 7200’ above sea level, with as much as a 30 degree lower temperature difference, than the Las Vegas desert.
So certainly, each rim offers its own charm.
What about the Skywalk?
As a reminder, the GCW Rim Skywalk attraction is an optional purchase @ $30. It is recommended that you wait until you see it in person, before you purchase the ticket. Purchase of the Skywalk ticket can be made at the Skywalk desk.
Is a helicopter an option on a Grand Canyon bus tour?
